Inside Portlandia inspires me deeply. Seeing Fred and Carrie pour their hearts out on their friendship from the beginning gives me hope that my friends and I are not alone. I’ve always believed that as friends (first and foremost) who happen to do really great creative work together, as long as we believe in and are passionate about what we are making, our work and energy are beyond worthwhile. Honestly, it has been hard being apart from them and wondering what lies ahead in Simplexity’s future, but I hope we never give up or get desensitized by the business and industry of it all. I pray about us a lot, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us.
